8 minutes to go and a frantic prediction typing: just for fun. As usual, I haven't seen everything, but here goes from what I have seen and read about.
Best Drama: King's Speech
I've only seen Black Swan, Inception and Social Network - but from the sounds of it, I must see King's Speech - I have to wonder if being a period piece helps in addition to Colin Firth's performance.
Best Actress Drama: Natalie Portman
Blew us away in Black Swan, Michelle Williams' is the other one I've seen. Halle Berry trailer looked good, but lots of films to catch up on.
Best Actor Drama: Colin Firth
I think it will be close between Firth and Wahlberg.
Best Comedy/Musical: The Kids Are Alright
Better than thought, there was something not fantastic about Alice.
Best Actress Comedy/Musical: Annette Benning
Something always great about Annette
Best Actor Comedy/Musical: Johnny Depp (Alice)
Tempted to go with Paul Giamatti, but we'll see. Haven't seen Barney's Version yet.
Best Actress Supporting: Helena Bonham Carter
Almost completely random, but I'm not convinced on Mila Kunis winning from Black Swan
Best Actor Supporting: Geoffrey Rush
Why not?
Animated Feature: Toy Story 3
Love the 4 I"ve seen, so this one kinda hard to pick
Foreign FIlm: I am Love
Let's go with this one. I usually have seen most, but not this year.
Best DIrector: Aronofsky
Strong field, hard to pick, I'd like to think they all have a good shot
Screenplay: Inception
Loved it
Score: Inception
Something about the super big budget effect films, technically strong.
Original SOng:
Haven't heard of any of them, going with Diane Warren's composition
I'll stop here because it's starting =)
So let's see how many I get right, hehe, will be more prepared for the Oscars.
