The Pacific Horizon - Tofino

Despite having taken so many pictures, memory is a funny thing.  I hadn't seen this picture in almost 3 years, but I recognized it as I was looking at my sister's powerpoint presentation for class.






I said to her, "Hey...is this one of my photos?"
"Yep, do you remember where it's from?"
A few seconds pass.
"Tofino"

"I work cited it for you," she said.

"Really?" (feeling a bit flattered)

"Naw."

Darn it.

Despite that though, it was a good memory to stir up. I had gone to Tofino in December amidst the winter storms, and it was a delight to sit on the Pacific Coast beaches in Tofino, where we stayed at the Wickanninnish Inn, just escaping every day city life, for several days of peace and quiet in a natural setting.  No surfing, but the spa was definitely worth the visit.
