Review: 50/50

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick star in this film about a young man Adam who is diagnosed with a rare genetic cancer. Over the course of time we see how he deals with it and the effect cancer has on him and those he knows. Based on a true story, this film is no doubt uplifting and light hearted despite the serious subject matter. A superb film that is touching and hopeful with a strong performance overall from the cast.

Heads up Vancouverites - you will notice a number of familiar locations in the first few minutes, but the story will take over and you will stop seeking out the next location.

4/5 This film is not part of the Vancouver International Film Festival, but did screen extremely well at the Toronto International Film Festival. Make sure you watch it.

my apologies for such a short note, but it's off to the film fest.
