Review: Tower Heist

 Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy star in this heist comedy about a building manager Josh Kovacs  (Stiller) who plots to steal $20 million from the penthouse tenant Mr Shaw (Alan Alda) after realizing that Shaw has indeed swindled and defrauded his staff of their pension. Wrangling a gang of amateurs that comprise of his brother in law/desk manager Charlie, a broke ex-tenant Mr Fitzhugh, and elevator operator Enrique, this is one job that still requires a few more cohorts.


Because of the hiccups along the way, this is one heist you'll want to take part in. Hilarious and well written, there is little that's not already set up without screaming this is setting up something else. Good performances by the cast, and their needing to adapt as the plan happens will have you roped in and thoroughly entertained. Everyone if funny without trying to be.  There is one small flaw in part of the ending, but I'll leave that for you to realize.
